The History of Tetbury Society was formed to provide a focus for historical research activity within the town of Tetbury in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, UK.

COVID-19 Update – During the current restrictions all our face to face meetings and events are “on hold”
However, we are holding meetings using the “Zoom” video conference system. If you are a member, you will be sent instructions on how to join these meetings by email each month. The Zoom meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30PM. Meetings
The History of Tetbury Society organises regular historical events. Meetings are held at 7.30pm on the first Thursday of each month. Under normal conditions from September to April we meet in Christchurch in the Chipping, during the summer months we assemble in the Chipping car-park at 6.45pm for our visits. During Covid we are having Zoom Meetings. Visitors are always welcome.

Annual Events
Each year we hold 2 exhibitions in the Market House, Tetbury. The first is on Woolsack Weekend and the second on Heritage Weekend.

Membership
Membership is £12.00 per annum and the quarterly journal subscription is an extra £8.00 per annum. Membership can be paid in cash or cheque to the History of Tetbury Society.
