Meetings
The History of Tetbury Society organises regular historical events. Meetings are held at 7.30pm on the first Thursday of each month. From September to April we meet in Christchurch in the Chipping. During the summer months we assemble in the Chipping car-park at 6.45pm for our visits. Visitors are always welcome.

Annual Events
Each year we hold 2 exhibitions in the Market House, Tetbury. The first is on Woolsack Weekend and the second on Heritage Weekend.

Programme for 2008

January 3rd Member's 'Show and Tell' Evening.
Februrary 7th The history of the Severn Ferries - Mr. Tim Ryan.
March 6th  AGM followed by the Chairman on Fredrick Godwin of Westonbirt.
April 3rd The history of the Royal Forest of Dean by Averil Kear.
May 1st The history of Boldridge Farm and its wildlife - Arthur Witchell winner of Glos. FWAG for 2007.
June 5th A visit to Chipping Sodbury.
July 3rd We visit Shipton Moyne.
August 7th A visit to Home Farm, Westonbirt, where delicious Ice Cream will be on sale.
September 4th Locally discovered mosaics and skeletons - Richard Osgood.
October 2nd The history of the Royal Agriculture College - a presentation by Julian Swindell.
November 6th The history of Allotments - a talk by John Loosley.
December 4th Our Annual Social.
